Once upon a time
There was a warrior in his prime
Travelling alongside his wife
Having the time of his life
Came across the forbidden valley
He couldn’t have known, could he?
Valley was home to dark forces
Killing everyone who passes
Oblivious, they walked in deeper
Waking the demons from slumber
A demon attacked from behind
Took the life of a woman so kind
One by one, all the beasts he slayed
But not before she could be saved
Holding her cold body in his embrace
He marched to that faraway place
Where this wrong could be erased
With the Tree of Afterlife, he’ll be faced
Reminiscing about her, what they had
She was vivacious but now so dead
Finally, his journey came to an end
Addressing it as “My dear Friend!”
He called upon the Tree and said
“In this life, nobody can take her stead
Her absence is what I never knew before
It has left its mark and it’s quite sore
Unite us, let the world witness your eminence
I’ll forever be grateful for your beneficence”
“For eternity, two souls shall be bonded
Join her, leave this world behind” tree responded
Tenderly holding her in his arms, he turned to stone
Even in the afterlife, he never wanted her to be alone…
