There must be an ocean
That flows above the clouds
That gives the sky its hue
And the earth it shrouds
Its gentle tides when crash
like on the wet sand of the shore
Leave waves of white cloud
And a sight that I truly adore
No matter how hard clouds try
Their efforts do go in vain
At times they start to leak
And that’s what we call rain
Without lightning and thunder
They would’ve been awful bores
Could it be something magical
Or just a sea animal that roars
Stars don’t live in the sky
Silly, wouldn’t they drown
They are a mere reflection
Of the lights on the ground
Somewhere on this earth
To shine each one yearns
The mighty Sun and the Moon
Cause I know they take turns
You must think it’s ludicrous
But I believed all that, I did
Before I studied science, I had
Lots of theories when I was a kid
